  1.             Some remarks for use
  2.  
  3. * There is no install program. After unpacking simply start SA52S.COM
  4.  
  5. * System Analyser is a DOS program. The best results you get in real dos.
  6.   If you make a boot floppy, with the win98se dos you get the best results.
  7.  
  8. * In a DOSBOX of Windows 95/98/ME it can hang when other programs are active. 
  9.   Close all running applications.
  10.   
  11. * If the program stops while it is testing,
  12.   look at the character in the upper right corner.
  13.   Reset the computer and start testing with SA52/character.
  14.   A list of possible characters and the test they represent you can find in:

  19. * With more than 512MB of memory in Windows 9x/ME there is a problem with the
  20.   DOSBOX. See 'http://support.Microsoft.com' -> Q253912

  22. * 'Memory low' on the screen: 
  23.    The processor cache is not measured (old processors).
  24.    Also the PCI info is not displayed properly
  25.  
  26. * 'Not Enough memory' on the screen: 
  27.   There are to much resident programs in the first 640KB part. 
  28.   Put 'HIMEM.SYS' and 'EMM386.EXE RAM NOEMS' and 'DOS=HIGH,UMB' in config.sys.
  29.   Load drivers high with 'DEVICEHIGH' and
  30.   programs in autoexec.bat with 'LOADHIGH'.
